Black Pashaco

This bowl was turned from a blank of spalted Black Pashaco from the Peruvian Amazon. The wood is very light and porous and is often used for musical instruments. I used shellac as a sanding sealer, 4 coats of glossy lacquer, and wet sanded through all colors of MM. C&C welcome.
