Black Ash Burl Majestic

Made it this A.M. It's Black Ash Burl from Exotics on a 22k/Rhodium Majestic Rollerball. It's amazing to me the number of burl eyes on that small piece of wood. It doesn't have the darker look hue of either the Amboyna or Honduran Rosewood Burls. The last piece of Black Ash Burl I did was much darker in color. Comments welcome but most of all thanks for just looking! Doc

Thank you all for the kind comments. I still marvel at how packed the burl is with eyes. It is amazing to me that nature creates such unique sights. I think along with Amboyna and Honduran Rosewood Burls, this is definitely one of my favorites..Regards, Doc
