Made this one for myself. I'd previously made one for my own use but forgot to add the clip when I was making it and glued the finial into the cap. That was wood and cellulose.
This is made from vintage black cellulose with a modern deep red cellulose for the accents. The clip is chrome plated and the rings are sterling silver.

The nib is the same dimensions as a Bock no6 but it isn't made by Bock. It's a fine flex steel nib with an ebonite feed.

It has 13mm threads and no step on the barrel. Overall length closed is around 140mm.
Cheers, Ash

Extremely B*E*A*U*T*I*F*U*L pen !!!

Thanks for showing and inspiring us !!!

Thanks for the construction details, too . . . . I like the "no-step-up-to-barrel" threads for the body to cap connection.

Simply stunning. Can you tell me where you got the nib? I would be interested in trying a flex nib.
Thank you. The nib is from the turners workshop here in GB. I don't think the flex nibs are available quite yet as I last heard that they're being tested, but you can buy the ebonite feeds and housings.

That's a beauty! I love your finial. How did you do that?
Thank you. I have the coins cast in sterling silver and I designed them so that I can either clean them up and leave them plain or, as in this case, fill the negative space with coloured resin.
