Bird's Eye Maple Stopper

I started this late last night, I had an idea for a stopper shape and I wanted to try it out. I wanted it to look some what like those double ended shot glasses. The blank is Bird's Eye Maple. All C&C are welcome. Thanks for looking

Mission accomplished. That's what I thought of when I 1st saw it and before I read your post. Well, ok, I 1st thought hour glass. Then I saw the concave top & thought shot glass. Good job. :good:

Bob, Thanks so much for the complement. I'm getting better at being able to get what I see in my minds eye to the blank.

Nice looking stopper Dan. I like the idea.
It's really hard to get the image from your mind to the object, That is my biggest problem.
But when it does happen the feeling is real good.
