It's going to be 115 degrees out Anthony's way this weekend.
I don't this will have much of a affect----dang that is hot.
I was watching WGN Chicago and they even think that's to hot.
It was over 90 here today and I thought that was getting warm.

4,000 is that the number of pens he has made or posts [:D]
I always thought that number was for pens made.

It is weeks like this I wonder why anybody with a mind at all,
would live in the desert [xx(] And don't be talkin about my golf game,
unless you want to come here and tee it up when it's 115 like a real man does [8D]

Anthony,

I'm in Texas and you're starting to sound like you've been out on the sun too long!!! LOL [}:)]...either that or you AZ guys are really TOUGH! (well I am not local here either so what do I know) [;)]

Thanks, Gerry... I think.

So I'm chatty. What can I say? It certainly doesn't make me an expert, but my flatwork experience has certainly helped. I've only made about 500 pens so far so I have a way to go before I get where Anthony and others are. I'm constantly learning and have never minded sharing my knowledge with those of like mind.

Just remember, advice is free, and you often get what you pay for. Just because something worked for me or someone else, doesn't mean you'll be successful with it... at least at first.[;)]

I hear you Anthony, I have done a lot more posting than turning recently myself. I am not about to go out on a golf course though. My pale @$$ would burn to a crisp. I don't think the beer errr..beverage cart could keep up with my needs.

Wow- 4,000! I did notice that I was getting close to one thousand, and I think that is way too much time to spend away from the lathe. Most of those have probably been at work for me, I can get away with some forum time at work but dragging along my lathe to my desk may be pushing it some [:D]
