4014 was here in KCMO went to see it on 11-18-19 the second pic is some fun facts about 4014 and that is my grandson Brec he just loved it he really liked when they blew the whistle and it was the only sream we saw

Wow, what a treat! I followed the video documentation of her restoration. I'm going to have to head west and see her sometime. I see NKP 765 yearly when she is here for Steam in The Valley.

That is a monster tender! The specs are mind boggling.
I'm sure that was a sight to see....and hear!

Imagine.....these were designed and built without the use of computers....only brain power. The designers couldn't even Google or YouTube for info.
Hats off to our past industry and innovation.

you are right, and they look and sound better than the new stuff, she is very big but nice on the eyes
