BenPen recently decided to "pay it forward" with a large group of blanks to a new turner. I got my lathe (Laguna 1216) after Christmas and I'm still picking up all the tools. In the box of blanks was a nice piece of Cocobolo I thought I'd try. It came out amazing. Not bad for my 3rd pen. Big thanks to BenPen! This is the Celtic kit from PSI.

This would have been an awesome entry in the Pretty Wood Contest. If you have some more beautiful blanks, I highly recommend you do another pen up and enter it. You definitely have the skills and the eye.
