Ok I just tossed a small light box but I think I need to add better lights.

This is my first segmented aluminum pen. On a streamline with Goncalo Alves Wood.

2nd is a El Grande. On Red Dyed Elm burl.

The pens look good. As far as the lighting, what type of camera do you have? If you can set the settings manually, either put the camera on a tripod and decrease the shutter speed or open up the aperture to let in more light...
