Cuts like butter, gorgeous smell. Just watch for bad knots, use sawdust/ca to fill

Even though I have purchased "Exhibition Grade" from Israel, I still find too many knots in some blanks.

I do love the smell of olivewood. Couldn't bring myself to conceal the smell behind CA on the last pen I turned with it. The grain is gorgeous, too. It was definitely a softer wood, enough that I split a blank once using too much pressure with the barrel trimmer.

Nothing special to know about BOW .... it is one of the nicest woods for turning .... total fun, beginning to end .... in my experience.

Thanks. Drilling and gluing tubes this morning to get ready. Will be around the corner from the local WC store later this week. If something happens to my blanks, I can get more. I'll try to remember to take some photos. P&P set is for our Sunday School class Christmas party.
