Good afternoon, have a question for the group pertaining to the Berea Hardwood Napkin Ring holders. Hav you made and sold any of these napkin rings and if so for how much? I struggle with coming up with a reasonable price for these when the kit cost close to $6 per napkin ring. Just the costs of the kits and the wood / acrylic for a set of 4 is close to $8 each. If you add your time to make them it drives the cost upward of $10 or more each which is hard to justify when you can get wooden rings on line for a fraction of the cost. Was wondering if anyone has had any success selling these. At this point I'm thinking they're great gifts at holidays and weddings but too costly to try and sell an make a small profit. Thanks

At the center we make napkin rings without a kit. I made a mandrel from a dowel just a tiny bit smaller than the hole in the ring, sawed a kerf in it and use a shim to expand it so they don't spin. Works fine.
