Hi - New to IAP site, and really like it!
Posting a couple pics of some pens I made for my Daughter's bridesmaids' presents. They really liked them.
Pens were made from some nice figured tiger maple, (you can see the blank the pen is resting against) which I stained with an alcohol aniline dye. I used thin CA to seal the barrels, and then friction polish and 1200 grit sandpaper to polish.
Kit came from Penn State. I have a Jet 1014VS lathe, which I picked up second-hand, and really like.
Thanks for looking.
Kevin
