I may need to replace the bearings in the headstock of my Jet 1442. Can you get them somewhere else besides Jet? Has anyone replaced them in a 1442 before? Is it difficult? Any help would be appreciated.

Search for 'bearing suppliers in Lexington, Virginia' and you will find some brick and mortar places near you. Take the old bearings to them and they will set you up. You could also phone them and give them the numbers etched into the races to get prices. You also have the option of looking for a .com supplier if you know exactly what you need.

Curly's idea is best, but if you must go online I bought from here Ball Bearings:Miniature bearing:Ceramic Ball Bearings:Flanged Bearings for the bearings for my Grizzly and for bearings for bandsaw guides. I have had good experiences with VBX.
