Bearings on Jet Mini VS

My Jet Mini VS has developed a tic-tic-tic noise. I can hear it when I turn the hand wheel by hand and when the lathe is running the frequency increases as the speed of the lathe is increased.

I suspect that I may have a problem with the bearings. Does this diagnosis sound right? If so, where is the best place to buy replacement bearings?

I can't tell you if your bearings are going, because it's never happened to me. That being said, replacement should be pretty strate forward using Randy's guide. The bearings themselves should be standard, off teh shelf, items that any good hardware store will have on hand (6004VV and 6005VV).
