Has any one replaced the bearing in a PSI tailstock live center? Mine is squealing like a pig under a gate and is becoming very annoying. Thanks for any help.

The outer shell is pressed onto the bearing. The trick is to press it off - usually with a larger arbor press or similar. I had difficulty working out how to make the connections to apply the force to separate the pieces. This is one that is simpler to assemble than take apart.
Amazon sells the replacement mandrel saver for $14 and change with free Prime shipping.
$20 bucks get you the "heavy duty" version
and for about $55 you can get the Nova which includes a 60 degree center. This one can be adapted with some metal work to be a "mandrel saver" for 7mm and 8mm mandrels.
The Oneway is quite a bit more expensive - about twice the cost of the Nova, but has a penturners tip available. One Way is a great live center
You can disassemble the one way and Nova should they happen to fail -- but they have a very high survival rate even with abuse.
