Hello everyone,
I just purchased a beall tool 3 wheel system for buffing pens, this is that thing that has 3 buffing wheels on a mandrel and comes with white diamond, rouge stick and carnauba wax:
The Beall Tool Company

I was wondering if I can use the same setup for polishing metal parts, particularly brass pieces without contaminating the wheels?

I'm afraid that after running a brass part under it any tiny metal particulate might come back later and scratch an acrylic or wood pen...

Thank you very much!

ok, thanks.
any suggestions on buff and polish? I think it will be all brass, perhaps some copper, but mostly brass... custom made pen parts and stuff...
thank you for your advice

For metal I would get a Sisal wheel for the rough stage( I use a black emery compound), spiral cotton wheel for the medium ( try the Caswell black magic compound) and for the final buff get a loose cotton wheel and white rouge..

I take a sharpie and write on the wheel what compound I use with it.. You don't want to mix them up..
