Secure your equipment. I'm setting up in the garage. The Taig lathe came off the bench to the floor. I was tightening something under the bench and somehow tugged the power cord. The lathe missed me but took a good hit. I can replace the damaged part for less than $100 but still feel stupid. Secure the equipment. Currently bolted to the bench... Better now than if someone's cue was chucked. Just another learning experience.
