Basket weave teapot

I bought some 16/4 by 16/4 polar hoping to find some suitable sized seasoned wood for doing my teapots. The poplar was so plain, I decided to add some color and basket weave pyrography. Should have tilted the spout up more.

I may have to continue using green wood and letting the teapots do what ever they do when drying.
