Newbie question alert.....
I have a Rigid WL 1200 lathe (I know it gets crummy reviews, but the price was right - i.e. free) and it's been good to me so far. I plan on keeping it until my skills outgrow it (that could be a long time), or my budget allows an upgrade (that could be a longer time!).
So my question is, what do I need to do on a regular basis in terms of keeping this in good working order. Any cleaning, lubrication, etc. that need to be done. At this point, I vacuum it off after use and try to get the motor as best I can. I inspect the belt periodically and that seems fine. I'm sure there are things I'm missing, however.
Thanks in advance!
