Barrel trimmer Shims

Alright. Whoever was the first to suggest using 7mm tubes with a scrap pen blank to create "shims" for barrel trimming larger diameter tubes --- YOU ARE A GENIUS!!!!!!!

That is the coolest tip I've seen in a while. I made one tonight for the 10mm tubes I use for the Classic style fountain pens. Easy to make and works GREAT!

Thanks again to the Great One that was responsible for that tip. Wish I knew the name to give credit to.

Agreed.
What is nice is to start a new style kit and find you already have a shim already made to the correct size from a prior kit! (ie. the small tube for the Gman kit is the same size as the large tube for the JrGent kit.)
