I have 2 of the 3/4" heads, but find I need a few more. I'm doing way more PR and stone, and need a spare set for when the other 2 are at the sharpener. I emailed Nolan today, but seem to remember either he or someone close to him was not well, and wonder if he's out and about.

I've searched the usual suspects, but none that I've found are carbide-tipped, which may (?) hold an edge longer.

Any sources or ideas?

Thanks,
Dale

Doesn't Daniel carry them also? I know he was doing group buys. You might pm he and see if he has any extras.

Manny, close but I've read here that the 2-winged were the worst the writer had ever used. I would think the 4 winged ones would naturally provide more balance and less wave. I also don't need the whole shaft set, although they may have just the heads elsewhere on their site. I'm a bit gunshy of PSI at the moment, so think I'll keep looking. But thank you for that input!

Mike, I think I know who you're talking about, I'll PM him. Didn't see any reference in search, but hey, who knows.

Anybody hear from Nolan? Is he OK?

Thanks, both of you. Still looking!

Dale

P.S. Mike, I did just find and PM Daniel. Thank You!

I have some more in the works and they will be available in the future. As most know I have had surgery and subsequent have gotten a staff infection, I am way behind so I don't need to add these right now and complicate the situation as I already have folks who have purchased other things that I cant get put together. Sorry I will post when better and these are available.

Hey Nolan, get better, this can wait. I thought you were having some struggles, but I hoped they were better. We'll be thinking good thoughts!

I got the four wing and also some six wing from the group buy, the six wings are not sharper than the four wings - what I do, I send mine to Paul Huffman (Paul in OKC, the famous vise maker) and have him sharpen them - these sharpened ones last very long. I have at least 4 or 5, and they go once a year to Paul.
