Baron with PITH blank

I was the recipient of a pen from Jimgo in the 2006 PITH. He sent me a resin blank with the pen he made for me. I finally got around to turning the blank. I'm not sure what it's called but I think it suits the chrome Baron. Thanks again for the blank Jim.[^]

Thanks for the kind words. Now that you mention it Billy , I remember now Jim did say he got the blank from Martin at Woodbin but I don't think it has a specific name but they drill and turn well.

Go here Acetate Blanks and scroll down a bit. I think it's the 2nd from the left in the pic. They aren't individually named and it looks like you have to buy them as a set of 10. It doesn't look like they are available individually.

That looks GREAT George! You certainly did that blank proud!

Martin is actually a very nice guy, and if you call him he'll sell you the blanks individually. I had a client who wanted a pen to match one I made for him in the past, and Martin sold me the specific blank I needed (I bought a few extras to play it safe, too).
