My Question - is there another kit the same size or smaller than the Baron Fountain Pen. If so - who sells it? Thank you.

The Sedona is the same tubes and bushings. Same Berea quality platings, available from most Berea retailers, including the one in my signature:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

CSUSA's Artisian Executive is close, may be slightly larger or slightly smaller. it's been a while since I've had one in person... The Artisian Signature Fountain Pen is close also...

Like the Sedona/Barron, the Berea Reinhart and Virage are the same tubes, and roughly the same size, and their New Series Style is a bit smaller... Not sure if Berea still sells it, but Woodcraft used to have a Classic American Fountain Pen that was significantly smaller.

PSI has the Classic Elite and Traditional that are smaller, and the Tycoon I believe is the same size tubes.

The Magnetic Vertex, Magentic Graduate, Presimo, and Big Ben are close also.

I'm sure some of the other vendors have similar size kits also that may just have different centerband/clip combinations...

The Rinehart uses the same size tubes and the same bushings as the Baron and is sold by Berea and most Berea retailers. Here's a URL for you to check it out:

Enter Rinehart in the search box. This is one of my favorite kits .... straight-sided turned blanks, nice solid clip, hexagonal finial and centerband, etc.

The Classic might be worth consideration.

It is about 1/2" longer than the Baron when capped, but it uses 10mm tubes for both barrels so it's a little slimmer than the Baron. It can be posted, but the bottom part is long enough that it's quite comfortable to write with unposted & it's actually a little lighter than most Parker-style ballpoints when used in that mode.

PSI sells it as the Classic Elite 2 and also has a Classic Petite version with a slightly shorter lower barrel. Exotic Blanks sells it as the Classic. Smitty's Pen Works lists a Classic Vintage version, but I think he's out of stock right now. Other PSI vendors probably either carry it or can get it.
