Took a break from turning to do some other woodworking. Barnwood has a special place in my heart as it was what got me into woodworking. I made a lot of rustic stuff from boards I salvaged as I dismantled a friends barn by hand. I was lucky enough to find this stash for free on Facebook market place

The USA map is consistently a good seller, so much so that my price for them has doubled since I first started 7 years ago, and they are usually sold before I have them completed. I use a floor puzzle for my template and cut everything on a scroll saw.
The large state shapes also do pretty well, I use AAA road maps for the templates

Those are really cool. Yesterday I was just admiring one shaped like a Bison that is hanging in one of our local restaurants. In my younger days I used to make large sepia toned black & white photos of abandoned homesteads and I liked to frame them in well aged barnwood. - Dave
