Still playing around with bentwood veneer items. These are some bangles in various burl veneers. I used mercury flex CA to glue the laminations. Each bangle is four layers thick, oval shaped with a gap to make them easier to slip on. They are sanded and just had the first coat of wiping varnish (general finishes bowl finish). The woods are: mappa burl; pepperwood; cluster elm burl; amboyna with elm lining; amboyna with walnut lining; elm burl.

Those are superb! I'm a cautious fan... any issues when they are put on and they need to be bent a little to slip over the wrist? The burls are beautiful, just curious of the daily wear effect. However, beautiful work.

These are very springy! Not sure if it's the flex CA or only using 4 layers, probably the latter as the thicker veneers yield stiffer bangles, but they have plenty of give and you can make the opening bigger if needed.
