Bangles and a mill

Spring weather has arrived so I ventured into the bangle world using supplies from www.bangleguy.com and had a lot of fun turning these bangles (amboyna burl, aspen burl and black ash burl respectively) set on stainless steel. I wish I had a better photo setup to accurately capture the high gloss, glass-like CA finish.

Also, here's a Crushgrind spalted pecan mill.

Thanks for the nice comments... I'm really happy with how these turned out.

Barry, the finish on the mill is 5 coats of Pens Plus and then a coat of Walnut Oil Microcrystal Wax both from Doctor's Woodshop. It's a nice finish that goes on very well on the lathe giving the wood a soft shine that still lets you know that you're holding a piece of wood.
