I am looking to purchase a new 14 inch bandsaw ($900 max.). Unfortunately, living north of the border in Canada, I do not have access to several US bandsaws such as Rikon, Jet or Grizzly and the economics doesn't make sense for me to bring one across the border. I have been looking at the Steel City 50100G, General International 90-125 and the Delta 28-206 models.

I am leaning towards purchasing the Steel City model but would like to hear from others (pros/cons) who have purchased a Steel City bandsaw and from those who may own either the Delta or General International . Any information would be helpful.

Thanks

Wade

I look over one of the larger Steel City bandsaws and was impressed with the manufacture. Very clean, smooth running machine. Consider getting the 16" is it's within your budget.
