Bandsaw Miter Sled Vid on Youtube

It is the Apprentice and the Journeyman and just watching him make the bandsaw miter sled makes me want to make my own soon. Easy to follow and a ton of info.

I recently made a miter sled for my table saw. I pretty much did it exactly the same way. One tip I discovered: wax the bottom of the sled.

I'm looking to add this to my to do list for tomorrow(of course after laundry, dishes and taking out the trash ) but I am thinking about trying to build in a tube measure device that would allow me to quick cut to blanks with a tape measure. I have seen a few out there but wasn't sure if anyone had something similar they wished to share.

Heres the bandsaw sled i made out of Corian for cutting pen blanks. The tape rule is a piece of what was left over from the Kreg fence.
