I am using a timberwolf and am happy with it. Before that i used olsen and they were good just did not last as long. I would say by the time the timberwolf wears i woulf have used atleast 3-4 olsen blades making the more expensive timberwolf a better deal. I get both at woodcraft.
There is another blade i hear folks talk about but cant recall the name. Penman1 recommends them. I am going to try one of them next and compare to the TW.
I'm sure there are hundreds of places and everyone has a favorite. I bought some at a wood show last spring from Carter. Seem to work fine for me....no problems. Check them out at www.carterproducts.com
The best resaw blades I have ever used are the Wood Slicer Blades from highlandwoodworking. com. They saw like a LaGuna but are priced less than an Olsen or Timberwolf.
They make them custom here in Atlanta, so any size is available. Highland has always shipped my orders the same day they were placed. I couldn't be happier with the product or the service!
+1 on the Woodslicer!! Not having a table saw, I needed a way to re-saw blanks for laminating and glue ups. They are a little pricey, but I use it almost everyday and it works great!
+2 for the wood slicer I use the woodslicer it's a great blade, I bought 2 about a year and half ago, and I am still on the first one, and I cut everything with it, acrylic sheet, wood, blanks, etc.
Another Woodslicer fan here. I have been using Timberwolf for over 10 years and have been happy. From all of the comments about the Woodslicer I decided to try one, I installed one last week and boy am I impressed.
