I gave mine to woodcraft to get rid of when I ordered a new one. The guy said some people make knives and other tools from sections...?

I was up in Rockport, Maine last summer and we visited The Apprentice Shop, a school for boat making. This is what they did with several of their blades.

Thanks for the info I may try some knives with the bigger ones. Not sure what to do with 1/8 but someone on another site said they cut them down and use in their scroll saw will give that a try as well

I resharpen the big ones, 1" 3 tpi with a dremel. I use them on my 19" bandsaw to cut bowl blanks, resaw green wood and cut pen blanks. Some woods dull it pretty quickly, such as mesquite. I can usually resharpen it 2-3 times before it doesn't cut well. Fine toothed blades are just too much trouble.
