I have a Delta 14" band saw that looks almost identical to the saws sold by HF and Grizzly, except for the color.

In the best opinion of all that knows, will the riser block system that Grizzly sells fit a Delta saw?

Unless you are coming into one for nothing or very cheap why not just buy the Delta. You need the blade guard to go with it. Also remember all the blades are now going to be needed to be replaced. Good luck and I could not be without mine. I resaw alot of wood and safe alot of money that way.

Well I can not answer if they will match up or not. If you can buy it locally why not try it. You could always bring it back unless they charge a restocking fee. If you have to order it mailorder than it is risky. Good luck with that.

Chuck I just bought the Grizzly and can measure it for ya if you need me to. But it has not arrived yet. I am hoping Friday or Monday to have it. I'm curious to know if any of them will fit a HF 14" band saw?

Rob I'd like to know too, HF says they don't sell the riser kits any more and I can get a good deal on a HF saw, but need the 12 inch throat.

Ken,
I wonder if anyone who owns the HF 14" would measure where the riser would go? I could then compare it to my Grizzly riser and then we would both know.

I just measured the Grizzly riser block. Same dimensions as Butch gave for the HF riser block. It has one bolt hole going through the center. I'm assuming it is through the center, could really measure it as the riser block is installed.
