I started out many years ago with a similar 3-wheel bench-top bandsaw from Craftsman. On the plus side, it did indeed cut wood, better than my jigsaw could. On the minus side, it was a major pain keeping the three wheels aligned. The blade had a tendency to wander off the wheels and was a nightmare to put back on. Because of the small wheels, the blade must make sharp turns at each wheel, which pretty much eliminates any blade wider than 1/4 inch. I was very glad to give it away.
After getting my Rikon 14 inch, I realized that the 3-wheel was more "toy" than tool. I think a bench top two wheel design would be better than a three wheel if space is an issue. The Rikon 10 inch and Craftsman 10 inch band saws both get decent reviews.
