Hey guys....bought a Jet 10 inch band saw (JWBS-10os) 2 years ago at Woodcraft. I have always bought my blades (67.5 inch) there. Use the band saw for pen blanks, toys, roughing out bowl shapes etc. Anyway, finding blades in my local store or Woodcraft.com is becoming harder. They are only carrying the 1/4 and 1/8 inch now.

So, my question is....do any of you have a supplier you like? I want something economical but also not junk.

Thanks for the info.....

Brent.

Hi Brent:
I've had great success with the Woodslicer blades from HighlandWoodworking.com.

Highland is here in Atlanta ( they are the Mecca of woodworking) and the Woodslicer is the best bandsaw blade I have ever used for resawing. They are priced below Olser and Timberwolf blades, but cut as well as the Lennox and Laguna Blades.

Highland makes these blades in any length and have always shipped my orders the same day or next.

You may want to try them.

I can offer no help on curved cutting band saw blades as I do this work on a scroll saw.
