Thinking I should have done the red diamonds in white instead.

Willee, that is awesome! I think it looks great as it is. I asked this in another thread, but I haven't seen your response. Are you using a pantograph for your inlays or some other method?
 
I had to ask because every time I tried that method I blew the blanks up while turning. I was hoping you used a different method. Your pen turned out great, I just wish I could get one too, lol.

I use the Unique Product 4 Axis CNC mill made to inlay pool cues.
Made a small adapter to hold the pen blanks.

They make a less expensive Pantograph also.
