After trimming our crape myrtle two years ago I had some rather large limbs which I put up to age. I turned my first one today to see what I might get. Here is the outcome.

Very nice - I made a pen from a crape myrtle Lomb a couple of years ago. It looks very much like yours.

Very nice. My cousin down in Cantonement, Fl. has a Crape Myrtle in his front yard. When I was there visiting, I offered to trim it up for him. He told me to stay away from his tree. Such a selfish individual! I could have had about twenty pens similar to yours.
