Wanted to give some of my old friends at IAP an update on my health. My lung cancer is in REMISSION (YEA!!!). I am still fighting the effects from the radiation and CHemo, so I am still on Oxygen 24/7, get out of breath with short walks. I have been in MD ANderson Hospital 8 times with stays running from 5 to 11 days for complications but it looks like that is behind me an I am finally on the mend. I still can't get to the shop to turn, but I know I will be back in the swing soon. I am glad to see the names of some of my old friends and know that not everyone has left, (Like I did becuase of the rudeness and lack of civility of some posters), but
I AM BACK!:biggrin:

Good to see you!!! Don't worry, rudeness is still available---just ignore it!!!

Hope you are soon turning and enjoying again!!!
 
Rob, I wondered where you had been, Glad to hear that you are on the mend and can get around little bit. Good to see you posting, Welcome Back!!!
 
Stay well! I went throught this as a kid watching both my grandparents having lung cancer. I wish you all the best and a quick recovery!!!
 
Welcome back Rob! Glad you are doing good! MD Anderson is the best place to go for cancer. My father in Law went there for cancer and he is doing excellent.
