I haven't turned anything for quite a while. This COVID pandemic has really affected me (not physically, but it has made me a bit over-cautious).

Here are 7 of the last 8 pens I have just finished. They are turned from Chechen, also known as Caribbean rosewood. (It is also called black poison wood, but I don't favor that name.

The wood was given to me by my son Chris, and I am quite happy with the way they turned out. The 8th got dropped during the turning, so I have re-CA'd it and will finish it in the next day or so.

Your comments/suggestions are most welcome.

I do love Chechen. It's a beautiful wood with those red tinged stripes. If you are selling pens, black poisonwood would be appealing to some folks.
