I keep selling my mini lathes and didn't plan on buying another, but I miss having one every time, so…. This one popped up on marketplace Saturday evening and managed to be the first to look at it. Good price. It's a 8x16 with some accessories including self centering four jaw chucks (2). Anyway…😁

I'm not sure if he does kitless, but you can turn blanks, and metal components for threads as well. More precision less irregularities with your pen parts.
Yeah, that's one of the reasons why I was asking him about getting another.

I'm not much on making kitless pens, or at least haven't, but……. I use it to make rings and to square the face of material when stacking as in my previous bowling ball pens. Plan on making some custom parts down the road for a pen or two. I have always struggle with these small lathes because I run full size stuff in my day job. But those are pretty big when turn pen sized things.😁
