Got a gift of some antlers which were a lot smaller than expected. Drilling was a challenge.
Gold Aquilo with American Bloodwood and a Gunmetal Etesia with Wenge. IMG_0261.JPG

I really like how that Wenge looks with the antler! The cross grain effect is really nice. What did you use for finish that didn't darken the lighter bands in the Wenge? Or maybe it was the method of application?
Thanks Todd. Both pens got the same treatment....Sanding sealer....3 coats of Melamine Lacquer.... Renaissance Wax.

I haven't been to Northern Ireland, but here in the states our babies don't have antlers...

Plus, there is a prohibition against using baby body parts in pens.

I like what you've done there!
We don't grow hair on our chests....we grow twigs!

only drawback is ,like rhino horn , the dust doesn't make you more frisky but Sheep do look more fetching for a whileā€¦..šŸ¤£šŸ¤£
