Hi everyone,

No need to say much more about this wood, everything you will need to know is here and if you are one of the ones that already know all about it, and have been wanting for this wood to become available for sale well, this is your opportunity...!:wink:

There are 3 grades on this burl;

- All advanced spalting, softer inner part of the burl (mostly brown) available on my eBay store soon.
- 50-50% of unspalted and spalted woods (available on my eBay store soon.)
- 100% solid burled wood (the one this add is about...!)

Hopefully, this second lot of blanks on sale at the moment here, will help those that would prefer a few of each type, to save on shipping costs...!:smile:


Remember, the wood/blanks are in SA - Australia

-* Ship anywhere in the world, for locations other than USA or Canada, please request quote...!

-* 250gr small box parcel to USA or Canada - AU$12.00 Regular Air-mail, shipping only. Fit 3 full blanks and 1 short.

-* 500gr small box parcel to USA or Canada - AU$19.00 Regular Air-mail, shipping only. Fit 7 blanks and 1 short

-* Parcels over 500gr to USA will attract the Custom sub-charge of extra $9.00

-* Each full blank weights approx. 60gr.

-* Full blanks size 21mm square x 130mm long.

-* Blanks may require their square corners removed to adjust parcel total weight limits.

All blanks have only 1 (one) face covered with wax for colour enhancement. Wood natural/uncoated colour can be seen on the blanks 3 other faces...!
Blanks are marked individually from #1 to #41 so, select the numbers/blanks you want and post a list with them so that I and everyone else can see what is sold and what is still available...!

Full size blanks are AU$3.00 each.

Shorts (from 42 to 58) are available if necessary...!

Paypal is the only payment acceptable.

42 to 43 - 4 1/4"
44 to 48 - 4"
49 to 50 - 3 3/4"
51 - 3 1/2"
52 to 54 - 3 1/4"
55 - 57 - 3"
58 - 2 3/4"

Shorties prices;
42 to 50 - AU$2.00
51 to 58 - AU$1.50

PS: I should also make clear that, any of the brown(ish) markings on any of theses blanks (full size and shorts) is NOT the soft wood from the burl spalting/decomposition, these are darker markings within the solid burl, just to make sure you know...!

Hi everyone,

While I have more of this burl to process at some time in the near future, of all I had processed, these are the only top grade blanks I've got and as I said before, these are all solid burl. There is enough full blanks left for a 500gr box and I want to confirm that, even tough that they were left for last, they are as solid and beautiful as any of the others, sold.

In fact, and due to the fact that only one side/face was waxed, that doesn't mean that the others sold haven't got some of these darker markings somewhere within the blank, as they were pretty identical to start with so, only because the waxed face on the ones left, show some darker markings, that doesn't mean that they are the same on the other 3 faces/sides.

I just don't want anyone to thing that these last ones are any worth than the rest, in fact, I'm so positive about it that I will give the money back if the person that buys them, isn't happy when receive them, no problem...!

I will be listing the next lot (grade under these) on my eBay store very soon so you are most welcome to have a look...!
