OK Folks, here they are...!:wink:

For those that haven't seen the introduction of this wood, you can see it here

Blanks are grouped in lots of 4 blanks, except the long pieces that are grouped to fit in a 500gr postal box. The 4 blanks groups were done so that they can fit in the smallest box I can use @ 250gr total weight...!

We have here 3 different groups, full size pen blanks @ 21mm square x 130mm long, cut in diagonal (Z), straight cut and crotch wood. The forth group is crotch wood at approx 21mm square x 8" to 8"1/4 long.

All blanks were lightly waxed for protection and colour enhancement...!

Shipping costs to the US and Canada are; (other locations, please request quote/price.)

Oh mate :eek:, you gotta do it all again...!

You probably did not understand how my sales are done, (in this case)

The blanks are not for individual selection as they aren't numbered, the sale is for a full group (4 blanks) or 5 if the long ones, AS IS. You pic your group in between the 4 types I have here, diagonal, straight cut, crotch wood and extra long crotch wood.

These groups were selected this way so that 1 (one) group fits in a 250gr box for the lowest shipping cost I have to offer (well, you can choose SEA-mail if you are prepared to wait 3 months...!)

If you select 2 groups, it will require a 500gr box and that cost is shown on the OP thread.

Each group as 4 blanks as the pic were taken on one face first and then rotated around (180°) to show the opposite site, this way, the 4 sides are shown, because of the angle the blanks are set at.

Possibly the number of pics is confusing the issue but, the groups are identified clearly, with the respective price shown above the pics.

So please, re-do your selection...!:wink:

Please, let me know it my ADDS are too confusing...!:frown:

PS: I've forgot that I have a "fair" number of short blanks from this Apricot, most from the crotch wood part, they were prepared the same way as the full and extra long pen blanks so, no difference there, in fact, most of these shorts have a crazy grain like its bigger brothers well, they were cut from the sale log, huh...??? dah....!

Well, that makes it 100% of payments made from everyone at this point.

I appreciate your prompt payment to complement my wish to get the blanks/parcels/boxes, to you in the shortest possible time. I really hate to wait for stuff so I like to believe that others may feel the same way...!

I always make sure that I have absolutely everything ready, when I open a sale/add, this is my way of doing things and that's the only way I work with.

Shipping delivery to the USA and Canada are normally of between 1 and 2 weeks, all parcel were sent on the economic Air-freight option called "Regular" therefore, they do not include and extra insurance or track numbers, those options are only available on the most expensive Air-freight shipping options.:frown: Nevertheless, 99.9% of my parcels sent this way overseas, have arrived sound and safe and withing the time predicted...!

Apricot "short" blanks sale...!

OK peoples,

While the full size pen blanks have been already all posted on sale (couple of groups left), I decided to include the shorts from this wood also for sale, after all, I see no point in keep them in a box, while some of you may have missed out on some of the most "busy grained" blanks from the crotch wood so, these shorts, will be your next best thing...!

Nothing is under 2.5" and the longer ones a just a little over 4", and every thing in between...!:wink::smile:

So we have 5 more groups of the Apricot shorts, 4 of these groups have been grouped to fit in a 250gr padded envelop, while 1 is twice the amount of blanks for a 500gr parcel.

The deal is the same, the 250gr shipping costs to the US and Canada is AU$11.55 and the 500gr box is AU$18.00, shipping only.

Don't be too upset that your other order is gone and that you have to paid another lot of freight for this lot, in fact, if everything went together, you had to pay the $9.00 extra for the US sub-charge for any items over 500gr so, sending them in separate boxes you endup saving AU$3.95, it works like this...!;

-250gr freight cost = $11.55
-500gr " " = $18.00
$11.55+$18.00= AU$29.55

-750gr freight cost = $24.50
- USA sub-charge for items over 500gr - $9.00
$24.50+$9.00= AU$33.50

$33.50-29.55= AU$3.95 :eek::eek::eek: ridiculous stuff, I tell you...!:mad:

monark88, sorry that you were late, if none of the groups left is good enough for you, I', sorry but you "may" have to wait a while before I get the rest of this tree...! I hope I'm wrong...!:smile:

Apart from this last order from DSurette, all other parcels are on their way...!

George, both packages arrived today and I am super pleased with the blanks. We are leaving soon for a three week motorhome vacation so I am kind of bummed out that I can't get started turnimg them. The mail service was much faster than I had expected.

I'm glad both boxes arrive safely and that you are pleased with them...!

Not a bad idea to leave them acclimatize a little to your conditions, it won't hurt the blanks and they will be there when you get back so, enjoy the moment and have fun...!

I hope that by now every got their blanks, particularly those sent to Canada, let me know, please...!

Well, the other Apricot blanks I got from the rest of the tree(s), will be ready very soon, shame the weather has been so wet and cold up here, with humidity up high, that is certainly not the ideal conditions to allow extra moisture to dry from wood...!:mad: but they are looking good...!

That's all for know, this was just a small update...!:wink:

Hi everyone,

The Apricot pen blanks and some bottle stoppers are done, I only have now to make up the packs, take the pics and put them on here.

As advise before, I will select only a percentage of these blanks to go on sale again here, the rest this time is going to my eBay store so that my other friends that by all sorts of blanks from me, have also the opportunity to have some of these, fair huh...???:biggrin:

At the moment, I'm no sure yet how many blanks (packs) in total I will sell here on IAP, 80+ blanks or 90% of all I had from the first lot, never left the IAP site so, will see...!
