Attaching Jet 1014 to Jet mini lathe stand

For those of you that have the Jet 1014 and the Jet mini lathe stand, What size bolts are needed to bolt down the lathe to the stand? Do the plastic feet stay on or do the come off before attaching it to the stand? (Do they pop off or thread off if they do come off?

I just bought the stand off craiglist for $75 but it's so cold in my shop right now, the flourescent lights weren't turning on and the 1/4" bolts I bought seemed too big from what little light I had.

I can't say for sure about the Jet, but the rubber feet on my mini lathe (Excelsior?) threaded off. Once they were off, I just took one down to the hardware store and matched the threads to the right size bolt.

I mounted a Jet 1014VS to Jet's stand a year or so ago. The feet have to come off because the bolts go through the holes left behind by removing the feet.

I think I used 1/4-20's. You can either put a mic on the pegs attached to the feet once they're removed or use drill bits to figure out the hole's diameter.
