I made a atomizer pen. Oak and merbau with veneer blank was the base, Then the holesaw method used to finish the design of the blank.
Thin pvc strips, wenge, padouk and beech. Turned out nicely. Like the design.

And it was just a attempt to see if i can cut just along the pvc strips.
The kerf of the holesaw is different each size. the 29 mm has a kerf of 1.88 mm average, the 65 mm has a kerf of 2.05mm and the 100mm has a kerf of 2.60 mm
The pieces that must go in the blank with a strip between are not easy to sand accurately, so i'm making a jig on the lathe, i'll show it when ready.
