I'm amazed at the lack of consideration that some pen turners have for other
pen turners.
Did a show this weekend and had a person enter my tent stand in the middle of my pen display eating an apple and getting apple funk all over my pens,
after a few minutes I figured it was time to push this guy onto something
or get him out of the way so my "real" customers could at least get to my products.
After approaching the individual he started asking questions about one of the
Damascus pens I had on display,( I never pre-qualify a customer )so now both of us are in the middle and people are leaving the tent.
When I move to close this guy on something, anything to get him out of the way,he looks at me and says "I do a fair amount of turning myself" what makes this *&^$%#((^$@ think that I really give a ^$&@.
Had he said that up front I would have loved to talk pens with him,but instead he felt it necessary to block my display and get his fingerprints on several of my Highest priced pens and when I told him to take a hike
he looked confused.
When you see a pen display at a show Please be considerate of the person
trying to sell the pens,Their there trying to sell pens and maybe make a friend or two,not give you a course on penmaking.
Sorry just had to vent.
