Artisan Key Ring Lighter Kit

Has anyone made any of the lighter key kits Craft Supplies sells? I searched and can't find anyone talking about them. I wanted to make sure the kits were worth buying. Was going to make some just for gifts.

Why not buy one to try out, they can't be all that expensive, can they? Is there a starters kit you could buy, you should get two or three in a starters pack?

I had not heard of this kit so I just looked it up. Very interesting if you do make some please let us know what you think of the kit.

Holy Cow!!! Watch the video that comes along with the lighter. Watch closely as the turner squares the first blank prior to drilling the tube hole. That's a bit too close to the centering chuck for me. I'm afraid I'd be destroying lots of turning tools and also be dodging a whole bunch of flying objects.
Interesting looking project though.

I've looked at them, but everyone I know who is a smoker is trying to quit, so I don't want to encourage them...
