AREA 51 / GROOM LAKE MAP PEN

I couldn't resist doing this little Sienna. The map pens are so fun to do due to the fact that they can be so personal! This chunk of map is from an aviation VFR (visual flight rules) navigation sectional in the Las Vegas Sector. Groom Lake is better known as "Area 51, the infamous Air Force test facility that "doesn't exist" in the South West Nevada desert. I beg to differ. Let's just say my past is firmly rooted in those parts.:usflag:

Very nice pen Mark, I really like the look on the Sierra. Could you do the same thing with an IFR (think you know what I mean) map. Great fit and finish.

Makes me want to go to 'our' Area 51 and find something awesome to cut! Yup, we have an Area 51 in the central Arkansas area too....it's where the Clinton's were dropped off after the aliens decided they were useless for experiment on!!!
