Thanks guys, and I'm sorry for my delay in replying but some how, how forgot all about this thread of mine, as I never seen it circulating under the new posts so I missed the responses, my apologies...!

OK so, seems to be a few blokes in San Antonio so, I explain the reason of this request;

A few days ago I had a lady from San Antonio that made a purchase of a couple of my Resifill Truffle blanks and wants me to make a couple of pens (1 barrel pens) one for her the other for her daughter.

I suggested that she would have the pens made by someone near her but the said that she didn't know any penturner in the area so, I said that I would ask on this forum for penturners near her...!

She has also some pen blanks, antler and some round pretty pieces that I still don't know what they are but she said, where left with her for her to do what she wanted with it, the problem is that, she knows nothing about pen turning so, she has no use for none of it.

It seems that she went on eBay to have a look at what sort of prices wood pen blanks sell for when she saw my store and these particular Truffle Resifills that she fell in love with.

Unfortunately the ones she wanted were sold when she decided to actually buy so, I'm making some more and I'm trying to duplicate the 2 that she liked, something that is almost impossible, as were the warm holes stabilised sawdust effect that she loved about them so, I have a few in my pressure pot at the moment that I'm certain will please her...!

I offer a deal to her to get all the stuff she has out of her hands (useless to her) while I can always use however, I think that the shipping involved for her to send all that stuff to me, with the piece of antler being a problem to ship, I though that she could have the 2 pens made costing her a lot less if someone near her was prepared to make the 2 pens (Sierra type, I believe) with the 2 blanks supplied by me (that she will get) and accept a swap with the stuff she has there, believe me, supplying the 2 kits and make the 2 pens in exchange, would be a great deal for the penturner, in my view.

I'm trying to help this lady but, and as I explained, my offer to her represents a lot of money wasted in shipping, including the $25.00 to have the 2 pens sent to her, all could be avoided if one of IAP members in San Francisco is willing to offer making the pens and help her to get rid of the stuff she can't use.

I do not know how she endup with that stuff, and is none of my business really so, I'm focussed on what I can help her with.

If any of you is close to Bulverde and want/can give a hand, please send me a PM with your email address so that I can put the 2 of you, talking...!

Thank you,

Cheers
George
