Im home for an extended leave and wanted to see what this was all about. are there any meetings coming up or should I just take my dads bike and go on tour?

i'm up for a meeting i have some stop at store that would like to start up again,
any suggestions from anyone for time and date.
we would also need volunteers for a demo or something also.
 
I would love the meetings to start up again. Most of what I learned about making pens came from this group. I would suggest a January meeting date as November and December are busy with the holidays. Plus it would give time for the word to get around.

I am new to this forum but would like to meet some other local members and network for tips and advice.
 
Yes, a meeting is long overdue for this group. I agree with Real, but I believe the Wood Show in Jan often affects meetings around then also...

I can make just about any Sunday within those months with at week or 2 notice, but I think a lot of the usual suspects need a bit more notice than that, and with Woodcraft's involvement in the Wood Show, that time is not good for a meeting.
