Apricot Bowl

I turned this from an apricot log that was about 50% dry and then finished it with BLO and wax. I wanted to see how the wood moved as it continued to dry.
After about 5 days the bowl was 1/2 narrower across the grain. It has not developed any cracks yet.

I like fruitwood bowls alot. That one has a lot of color. How about a pic from the side?

I've already given the bowl to the person who gave me the wood so I can't get a side view.
