Applying decals to acrylic

A friend has asked me to put his wifes name on an acrylic pen. I've done a few decals on wood but not acrylic. Is this done about the same as with wood? I've never put CA on acrylic but I suppose thay's the only way to cover the decal, huh? Any and all help is appreciared!

I've put decals (avery labels) on acrylics, but then I casted them in clear resin.

Thanks for the info. I'm not into casting just yet although I do want to try it later on. Does any one us CA to cover decals on acrylic? I'm not crazy about it my self since the acrylic sands and polishes to such a nice finish.

I put them on acrylic and finish with CA. MM and polish.

i put the decals on acrylics, PR, alumilite, etc and cover with CA regularly. they come out just fine.
