I want to turn an acrylic pen blank then apply a label around the blank with mode podge? Has anyone done this before?

Also, depending on the image, if you can cut around it cleanly, you can busy build a CA finish over it but it will depend on the size of the image and the pen being made, to see id you can get the label to lay flat without any wrinkles.

Like suggested above, waterslide just work better over blanks. You can brush on a layer of microsol to soften them up so they lay flat against the blank. Then let dry and build a CA finish over it.

Yes, I have. 2 extremely thin coats of Mod Podge, 30 minutes between coats, let dry for 2-3 hours, then 6-8 coats of CA. I had to do this because CA directly on the decal/label made the ink on the decal run/smudge. Once final coated with CA, I Micro Meshed to 12,000 grit. Then polished with Colgate toothpaste, (like rubbing compound). Then plastic cleaner/polish. Always comes out super high gloss sheen. I had this issue with water slide and onion skin thin paper. Good luck. Desi
